Stronger Together
No one said marriage would be easy, but with God's help it can be worth fighting for. Attacks from the enemy will come in the form of division and temptation to give up, but with God's guidance we can become stronger together. The love of God and Jesus Christ gives us the strength to fight and overcome any obstacle that comes our way. The Church provides us with a life-line of support, and we can find comfort in knowing that we are not alone. With these tools, a marriage can thrive and be a beautiful testimony of God's love.
The Power of Oneness
I repeat; No one ever said that marriage would be easy. It takes a lot of work, patience, and communication to make it work. But it is worth it. When you persevere through the tough times, you will be victorious and experience oneness with your spouse. Jesus is the ultimate example of a successful marriage. He showed us that it is possible to have a deep, intimate relationship with someone else despite our differences. He demonstrates daily His steadfast love for His bride, the Church and His love, patience and faithfulness serves as the ultimate example. When we invite Christ to become the center of our marriage; to be the glue that keeps us together and humble ourselves to each other, it shuts the devil down and releases the power of oneness. May God strengthen you both to overcome every adversity, and that your marriage will model the dominion and increase that God ordained from the beginning!
