The Art of Waiting

                                                The Art of Waiting

Waiting. It's one of the hardest things to do, especially when we want something bad or desire something great. We're often taught as children to "be patient", but what does that really mean? And how do we go about waiting in a way that honors God and allows us to grow in our trust of Him?

Waiting is not just sitting around doing nothing; it's an active process of preparing for what lies ahead. We may not be able to see the end result, but if we trust in God, He will guide us through whatever we're waiting for because He is a promise keeper.

                                                          God is a Promise Keeper

And when it comes to His promises, the wait is worth it. But sometimes we feel like we're waiting forever for something that never comes. In the Old Testament story of Ruth and Naomi, Ruth chose to wait on God and His promise to provide for her. Even though she didn't know what the future held, she knew that she could trust in God's goodness.

It's important to remember that life is a journey, and there's no need to rush through it. God has given us each a lifetime to accomplish His plan for us, and by rushing ahead we may miss out on opportunities for growth and learning. Whatever God has for you will definetely be worth waiting for!

                                               Making The Right Choices

In our own lives, there are often choices to be made while we're waiting on God, and one of the most important choices we make while waiting is who we will marry. Sometimes those choices seem difficult because they are between two different paths and they both seem good. Other times they might be between two bad options. But no matter what the choice is, we can trust that God will guide us if we ask Him for help and are willing to wait for Him.
